New drivers side floor mat

My factory drivers side floor mat was really starting to look bad. My heel has almost made a hole and they are faded. I checked some websites hoping to buy new ones, but heck.. They charge way to much for a simple piece of carpet. So leave it to my wife to make me new ones!
This looks like total crap. We bought some nice black carpet from the hardware store. I then cut it to the exact shape of the original factory mat. My wife sewed some red vinyl trim around the edges to make it look nice and match the color of my Roadster. Looks good, but not done yet!
Next my wife cut out the holes so it fits perfectly inside and won't move.
Once the holes were cut I hammered on some silver eyelets, looks professionally done just like the factory mats if not better!
All done, but something seems to be missing...
So my wife embroiders "Roadster" with her $3,500 sewing machine.
Then she sewed it on the side and WOW, this turned out great! I like this much better than the factory mats.
A close up picture of how it looks.
Installed it inside my Roadster and fits perfectly!
The eyelets lined up perfectly and I must say, I am very happy! Next we will make the passenger side mat. I will start selling these mats on my website soon much cheaper than other companies sell theirs, so check my website often.
